Prospering in the recession

1 Kings 17 vs 1 - 7

Changing times require changes in people but many of us are stuck in our old selves and old mindsets most human beings find it difficult to reinvent themselves. However, for you to do what you have never done before or overcome challenges you have never overcome before, you must become someone you have never been before.

Two main key to prospering in hard times are; Divine Direction and the Willingness to Change. In 1 Kings 17 vs 1-7, God gave Elijah a divine direction, he obeyed God and he was willing to change. We too, must be willing to move with the Holy Spirit in order to break free from the fear of poverty, lack, etc.

We must, also, be sensitive to God's prophets. God sends prophet not because we do not have the Holy Spirit but because what the prophet say is meant to stare up the grace of God upon outlives. It's still is our responsibility to hear from God personally. It takes a prophet to move our mindsets beyond the barriers set by past experiences and old traditions. It took the arrival of Elijah for the mindset of the widow to change from scarcity and death to abundance and life. 1 kings 17 vs 8 - God usually will send a prophet to challenge you to break barriers for the present you to die and a new you to evolve. John 12 vs 24.

God is re-organizing things. many people are afraid, but this is the time to take risks based on prophetic instruction, insight and foresight. when natural resources deplete, it is the time to maintain a connection with God's resources because His resources can never run out. If earthly principles seem to be failing, let us activate the principles of God and apply his system, give your material resources to provoke heavens resources. 1 King 17 vs 13-16.

This recession is for our increase - there is a place called THERE for us and God will use unusual sources to meet our needs this season. AMEN.
